The word Music comes to us from the Greeks meaning the '(art) of the Muses. My Muse made her début when I was thirteen years old. I had just learned three chords on a friend's guitar and with determination and sore fingertips I wrote my first song. I've been writing ever since.
Some music makes us think, some songs help us remember and then there are those songs that make us want to dance, but mostly music helps us feel our feelings on a deeper level. Music taps into a deep universal human truth and has the power to heal the musician and the listener alike. Music is the way many praise our creator and is central to ceremony. Music is the common human language. Music is a dear companion and the soundtrack of our lives. Music is a calling.
It is my greatest desire to share my music with those who might find it meaningful.
